I read this sad-but-true quote from a report titled "Five Facts About Gender Pay Gap" published back in April by White House, and authored by Betsey Johnson (member of the Council of Economic Advisors to President Obama).
While great progress is being done to regulate equal pay and access to paid leave, the gap will continue to exist as long as we don't learn how to advocate for ourselves and negotiate for what we are worth.
